To Develop Agriculture and Forestry Leaders
On Friday, November 2, 2007, please join with other
sponsors and the Agriculture and Forestry Education Foundation to
host the third annual gala event: Celebrating Our Connections. This
event directly benefits the AgForestry scholarship fund for leadership
program participants. The event draws over 400 statewide attendees
and will be held in the Fisher Pavilion at the Seattle Center. For
information, contact Ann Goos at 206 285-1211 or agoos@seanet.com,
or the AgForestry office at 509-926-9113 - leaders@agforestry.org.
Celebrating Our Connections promises to be an entertaining
evening: Our attendees will:
• Start with lively conversation at a reception
and silent auction with quality items for their bidding pleasure.
• Enjoy scrumptious food prepared by an award-winning chef,
Kaspar Donier and featuring home grown ingredients from our state’s
farms, fields, and sea.
• Admire beautiful wood and horticulture products from our
state’s forest product companies and horticulture sector.
• Have their passion ignited and take pride in the stunning
décor showcasing the products and produce from western
and eastern Washington.
• Network with a top list of opinion leaders from across
the state at an exceptional event inspired by the quality and
stature of our speakers.
• Celebrate natural resources at the state’s most
comprehensive gathering dedicated to all of the bounty of Washington.
At least 1000 leaders working in and serving all of
natural resources are being invited to join us from all across Washington
State. It will be a time to sample an award-winning menu, renew
friendships among our renewable, natural resource industries, agencies,
and Tribes and reflect on our connections to each other and the
beautiful state of Washington. Here are some of the ways you and
your organization can participate as a sponsor:

Do
you grow juicy oysters or clams? Do you provide beautiful
trees and flowers to customers? Do you produce world-class
wine? Does your farm produce delicious fruits, vegetables,
or dairy products? Could your hardwood doors be featured?
Could we showcase Washington-grown beef and chicken as appetizers
or the entree? Could your paper products make our venue magical?
If in-kind contributions equal a sponsorship level, the sponsor
receives a table of 10 along with signage to describe products.
