The Celebrating Our Connections Benefit Gala is held annually
to support the AgForestry Leadership Program scholarship
fund, which develops agriculture and forestry leaders for
Washington State. It is sponsored by the Washington Agriculture
and Forestry Education Foundation and our valued Patrons.
On Friday, November 2, the Gala, set in the heart of the
state’s largest city, drew over 450 philanthropic
and community leaders. Among those present were AgForestry
graduates, board members and many of our valued and fabulous
sponsors.
This year the Gala celebrated the trading relationship
we have with many Asian countries – Japan, Taiwan, Korea,
China, which have been important trading partners. The room
reflected beautifully the Asian aesthetic, and the chinese
dinner, prepared and served by Kaspars Special Events and
Catering, was delicious.
Networking and generosity were plentiful during
the evening, and once again a wonderful time was had by all
as graduates gathered together, new friends were introduced
to our leadership program, and attendees had the opportunity
to support the program. Thank you to our many sponsors, supporters,
and attendees, who gathered together to make the Gala a fabulous
