Scramble Format
- All four golfers on the team hit their drives. Men hit from white markers, women from red.
- The team chooses the best drive and all four players hit from that spot.
- This procedure is repeated until the hole is finished.
- Note: On the green, when putting, if someone holes out the putt, the hole is finished. When it is your turn to putt, if you miss the putt, don’t putt out.
- Mark where your ball ends up and wait for the next player to putt. If nobody makes their first putt, repeat the steps until someone makes the putt to finish the hole.
- The team records one score per hole for the team on their scorecard.
- One first shot per person must be used during the eighteen holes.
- Special note for teams with only three players: These teams play an extra ball on each hole for an imaginary fourth player, following the steps as above. Each player on the team takes a turn as the fourth player, hitting his or her own shot first and then the shot of the fourth player until the hole is finished. This ensures that three- and four-player teams have equal chances.
