About the Golf Tournament:
Each summer AgForestry is proud to hold its annual benefit golf tournament. This PGA-styled tournament features awards, contests, and prizes. Drawing up to 144 leaders from around the State, our prestigious tournament is the perfect networking opportunity and a wonderful way for you and your guests to be entertained while supporting the AgForestry Leadership Program.

The day commences with a boxed lunch for players prepared by the talented staff at Suncadia. A putting contest and silent auction are provided for your entertainment and you have the added opportunity of purchasing a very special AgForestry Super Ticket, which is full of attractive golf bonuses and beverage tickets.

Together with our sponsors we provide water, snacks and a thank you gift to each player, ready and waiting on your golf cart. After enjoying a pleasant afternoon of perfect golfing and fun contests, players and guests gather together to enjoy a cold drink and survey the high-quality auction items before the delicious barbeque buffet. The evening concludes with a short program and the announcement of awards and prizes.

The golf tournament is held at Suncadia Resort, in Roslyn, Washington with a 1:00 p.m. shotgun start. The professional staff and spectacular Prospector Course make this an event to remember.

For those who don’t golf, Suncadia is splendidly set amidst majestic pine and fir, and surrounded by lakes, rivers and natural wonders waiting to be discovered. The Cascades and Cle Elum River Valley make Suncadia the perfect jumping off point for berry and mushroom picking, biking, hiking, picnicking, horseback riding, swimming and river rafting.

Proceeds from the Golf Tournament fund ongoing educational programs and provide scholarships for participants.

About the Beneficiary:
The AgForestry Leadership Program provides leadership training and networking opportunities that support healthy natural resource industries and communities through enhanced understanding, education, and empowerment of future leaders. AgForestry is a dynamic leadership organization celebrating over 32 years in Washington State. The program presents a series of 14 seminars over a two-year period designed to broaden a participant's knowledge base and to motivate its graduates to serve as leaders, presenters, and facilitators. Our graduates serve as leaders in government, industry, the private sector, and as elected officials at the local, state and national levels.
